The Vaxtracker project is led by Patrick Cashman at Hunter New England Population Health and the Vaxtracker system was developed and is maintained by Flexis Systems.
Patrick (Paddy) Cashman RN, BHSc, MPH&TM, GCertAppMgt, PhD student. Paddy has worked in Victoria, Tasmania, the Northern Territory and NSW as a RN in infectious diseases, ICU, ED, remote health and public health, completed a MPH&TM from James Cook University Queensland and is currently the Immunisation Coordinator at Hunter New England LHD NSW.
Operational and research interests include nurse immuniser education, Aboriginal immunisation and adverse events following immunisation (AEFI). Paddy initiated the employment of Aboriginal Immunisation Officers in NSW and has made a contribution to the Closing of the Immunisation Gap.
Paddy is involved with AusVaxSafety, AEFI-CAN and COSSI. Paddy was awarded the 2021 Public Health Association of Australia Immunisation Achievement award and has managed Vaxtracker since inception in 2011.
Renée is the main contact for Vaxtracker and is responsible for coordinating clinic registration and assisting clinics with any enquiries they have.
Renée has worked in Public Health since 2013 in a variety of settings and is always happy to help.
Stephen is the principal software architect at Flexis Systems, with over 30 years of professional experience in a wide range of platforms and languages.
Stephen has been involved in public health surveillance projects since 2009, and has been designing and building Vaxtracker since its inception in 2011.
Georgie covers a range of roles for Vaxtracker, including web design and content management, report design, testing and documentation. This website was one of her projects.
Georgie is studying software engineering subjects at the University of Queensland, and loves being part of the Vaxtracker team!
